Place of public organizations and their importance in the structure of public associations

The article is devoted to determination of place of public organizations and their importance in the structure of public associations. The author has considered the proportion of various forms of public associations in the Republic of Buryatia, Zabaikalsky territory and Irkutsk region. A comparative analysis of the indicators for public organizations development in the Republic of Buryatia with similar indicators in neighboring regions has been made based on the data from the official website of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation. The indicators of the development of the public organizations allowed to compare the degree of social activity and the level of development of civil society in the Republic of Buryatiya, Zabaikalsky territory and the Irkutsk region. In this article the factors determining the significance of the activities of the public organizations are also analyzed. The public and socio-economic significance of the activities undertaken by the non-profit, voluntary organizations is revealed.
