The article considers the essence and description of the need for personnel certification, its essence, types. The main task of the company's management is to evaluate the effectiveness of the staff and determine the prospects for its development. The novelty of the chosen topic is due to the growing awareness of the value of human resources in the organization and the need for intensive work with personnel. It is quite rightly noted that labor resources play a primary role in the production process, it depends on them how effectively the means of production are used at the enterprise and how successfully the enterprise as a whole operates. In this regard, there is a need to conduct a comprehensive certification of personnel, which allows you to determine the level of compliance with the position, possession of the necessary knowledge and skills.
