The metabolic activity of peripheral blood neutrophils in leukosis cattle

The article are presents the results of a study of functional-metabolic status of neutrophil leukemia virus in cattle (BLV) photometric method in HCT-test. There was found that stimulation factor (SF), defined as the ratio between the induced and spontaneous variants, is the most important indicator. There was noted initially lowest SF in 57,1% of the RID-negative animals from unfavorableherds by leukosis and was testified to reduce resistance and low microbicidal activity of neutrophils.
