In poultry farming, complex pharmaceuticals drugs are used, which are necessary to increase the resistance of poultry to adverse factors, early maturity and obtaining the highest quality products. These pharmaceuticals drugs have a holistic systemic effect. The aim of the study was to determine the effect of Sedimine on the dynamics of weight and metabolism in chickens. To do this, 2 groups of 14-day-old analog chickens were formed. Sedimine was drunk to the experimental group for 10 days, at a dose of 1 ml/l of water; the control group received clean drinking water. The determination of live weight and the mass of internal organs, the study of biochemical parameters of blood was carried out in chickens of 25 and 45-day-old age. 25-day-old chickens were slightly inferior in live weight to the control ones; the mass of internal organs had no significant differences. The weight of 45-day-old chickens of the experimental group exceeded the weight of the control group by 22.55%. The absolute average daily increase in live weight was 6.47 g, relative - 39.34%, this is more than in the control group. In 25-day-old chickens, the concentration of total protein, uric acid and enzyme activity is lower against the background of Sedimine drinking. The 45-day-old chickens of the experimental group showed an increase in the concentration of total protein by 41.04%, inorganic phosphorus by 105.20%; a decrease in glucose by 32.93%, cholesterol by 12.09%, ALT by 43.55% and alkaline phosphatase by 55.13%. It has been established that Sedimine does not have a negative effect on the body of chickens, has a delayed effect on live weight, absolute and relative gain; it stimulates nonspecific resistance, prepares the body of birds for the beginning of the productive period, normalizes mineral metabolism and reduces the activity of enzymes.
