Metabolic syndrome and its role in the occurrence of ovarian follicular cysts in cows

In high yielding cows of impoted breeding prevelence of ovarian follicular cysts reaches 30-37,5% from the number of infertile cows. Accompanying disturbed folliculagenesis process in these cows, latent form of indometritis develops. Ecologic factor in the growth of the animals' number with cysts ovary degeneration are hepatopaty, leading to metabolistic dysfunctions.
