Metaphysics of interest in the philosophy of Kant

Immanuel Kant placed the utmost importance on the development of the concept of "interest" in his philosophical doctrine; the thinker did not ignore issues of morality, connection between interest and will. The analysis shows that from the conceptual angle I. Kant characterized the interest having in its origin neuropsychological and biosocial nature, by moral and psychological, aesthetic, biological, spiritual, political, economic, legal and other aspects. The author of the article states that the invaluable advantage of Kant's doctrine is that it creates fundamental obstacles - a kind of selection rules of potential actions - in the way of attaining personal profit, namely, the principle of morality, which he reduced to the idea of freedom.
