The publicist view of the world is seen as part of the linguistic world image. Conceptual political metaphors constitute stereotyped cognitive entities influencing the publicist view of the world. Patterns like PERSONIFICATION, CONSTRUCTION, ANIMAL, FAMILY RELATIONS, SPORT, THEATRE are conventional metaphorical models in political language.
