The article presents the analysis of the toponyms created in terms of the metaphorical identity of ahuman body's anatomic parts with geographical objects on the basis of the general features of form, function or linguocultural symbolics. At the heart of the analysisis the anthopometrical principle, according to which «man is a measure of all things». Human ideas about oneself and one's body appear to be that sphere which is studied better than others and can become a basis for metaphorical identity. A number of language figurative metaphors in geographical terminology is known. In the Siberian Yeniseisk region the following names of a human body's anatomic parts formed motivating bases for metaphorical toponomination: foot, navel, tongue, rib, cheeks, throat, bone, indumentum (bald),mane, wart, side, etc.
