Metaphorical modeling of a family: a philosophical analysis

The article reviews resources of philosophic consideration of a family phenomenon by study of metaphors reflecting attitude to a family. This approach allows the author to see the diversity of the phenomenon of family, its complexity and its universality. Being one of the most ancient, symbolic and traditional aspect of life, the family is undergoing a revolutionary change in the contemporary world. By analyzing the metaphorical modeling of a family, the author comprehends the nature and the change of the essence of the family.
