The article deals with Arseniy Tarkovskiy's poem 'To the poems' in which the religious perception of poetry is re-vealed. It is proved that the perception and reflection of reality in Tarkovskiy's poetry is characterized by the method of typological exegesis, which was typical of Old Russian literature.
