Meteorological vocabulary in the коми languages (names of atmospheric precipitations)

The system of names of atmospheric precipitations of modern Komi languages has ancient sources. Lexical units of the parent-Ural, parent-Finno-Ugrian, parent-Finno-Permian, parent-Permian and parent-Komi origin, as well as the primordial formations of later period that have arisen in each of two closely related languages independently, make its basis. The other-language component formed on the basis of two external sources (Russian and Baltic-Finnish) takes an insignificant place.
