Meteorological conditions of warm period in the territory of the Botanical Garden-Institute of VSUT

The characteristic of the weather conditions of the warm period for the 22-year period from 2000 to 2021 for the territory of the Botanical Garden-Institute of VSUT (Yoshkar-Ola) is given. The agro-climatic indicators were determined: the dates of the steady transition of average daily temperatures through 0 °C, 5 °C, 10 °C, 15 °C, the sum of effective and active temperatures, the duration of the growing season and the period of active vegetation, Selyaninov Hydrothermal Coefficient. The distinctive features of some years are presented. The region is characterized by slightly arid conditions during the active vegetation period and a tendency to increase the aridity of meteorological conditions has been revealed.
