Actor network theory method in researches of rural tourism

The article is devoted to the peculiarities of applying the actor-network theory in studies of rural tourism as a special type of tourism. The main advantages of this methodology are shown. The author concludes that, despite the comparative popularity and research interest in actor-network theory in Russia, a certain shortage of publications can be noted. An analysis of foreign articles allows us to conclude that the use of actor-network theory is fruitful not only for determining the content of relations that characterize rural everyday life in the aspect of tourism activity, but also for building long-term plans for territorial development.
