Method of Gauss approximation for optical fiber Bragg grating sensor reflection spectrum peak

For increasing accuracy of measurements, executed by optical fiber Bragg grating sensors, and lowering effects from input noise it is offered to use Gauss approximation of Bragg spectrum peaks. The solution of the approximation problem is carried out by variant of the least squares method with linearization of equations and using several iterations. The possible errors of offered method is investigated by numerical modeling. The steadiness of this method to noise in the Bragg spectrum is investigated also.
