Метод неразрушающего контроля прочности кварцевого оптического волокна

В работе предложен метод неразрушающего контроля прочности оптического волокна по оценкам энергии нелинейной акустической эмиссии, базирующийся на использовании тестируемого оптического волокна в качестве акустического сенсора. Представлены модели процессов, на которых базируется метод. Приведены результаты экспериментальных исследований. Данные, полученные по результатам испытаний образцов оптического кабеля и оптических волокон предложенным методом, сопоставлялись с результатами измерений тех же образцов известным 2-точечным методом. Погрешность относительных оценок прочности тестируемых образцов оптических волокон не превышала 3,0 %. Полученные результаты позволяют говорить о корректности используемых моделей и потенциальной возможности применения предлагаемого метода для неразрушающего контроля прочности оптических волокон, а также о перспективе разработок по применению рассмотренного подхода для неразрушающего контроля прочности оптических волокон в кабеле, в том числе в кабеле на линии, введенной в эксплуатацию.
