Method “series of information criteria” in the process of teaching a foreign language

The article substantiates the importance of applying a generalized model of the process of professionally oriented education in educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, in particular within the framework of such a system-categorical method as “series of information criteria”. The levels of formation of cadets’ ability of intercultural communication are given for the purpose of a structured explication of the educational process: creation of the basic basis of the language, training in receptive activities, development of the ability to use information, formation of readiness for productive speaking, preparation for strategic communication, formation of the ability to universal communication.
