Material dispersion account method for chromatic dispersion of optical fiber calculations

Material dispersion account method for calculations of optical fiber chromatic dispersion is presented. Method based on Selhneier equation. Calculations of chromatic dispersion and dispersion slopes for fibers with refractive index profiles, for which analytical decisions and experimental data of chromatic dispersion slopes are known, are performed by presented and traditionally used methods. On the basis of the comparative analysis the estimation of errors of the offered method is given.
