Article is devoted to a question of preparation of the future teachers to an integrated approach in children’s training to the Mari and Russian reading and writing. On the basis of interpretation of various concepts and features of training to the reading and writing, process of realization of an integrated approach to the preparation of training to the Mari and Russian reading and writing of preschool aged children is considered.
