Methodological foundations of pedagogical training in physics for contemporary knowledge intensive technologies

The relevance of the problem of pedagogical staff training in physics is substantiated. It is shown that the content and methodology of modern scientific and technical activities possess essential methodical potential in motivational, content, and action based aspects demanded by physical education. Basic principles of the new content composition and design for educational programs in Physics are formulated. Methodological approaches lying at the foundation of the teacher training process are defined. The necessity of addressing theoretical and practical training of future teachers in Physics from the standpoint of project and research based approach is substantiated. Such approach is inherent to the activity aimed at science-driven technology development. Provisional, informational, technical, and material resources of pedagogical staff training in Physics in the area of knowledge intensive technologies’ development are analyzed.
