Methodological features of assessing the investment climate of Russian regions

The Author believes that in the current conditions of methodological non-development of issues of investment climate assessment, it is appropriate to use multidimensional statistical methods for these purposes. In addition, factor analysis can reveal the degree of closeness and form of relationship between investment attractiveness indicators and investment activity indicators, which should be taken into account when forming regional investment policy. In conclusion, the author States that cluster analysis allows us to classify regions by type of investment attractiveness with simultaneous consideration of all classification features and divide the studied population into more homogeneous groups for a more detailed study.
