Methodical approaches and technical solutions of formation the nanostructured Ti-Ni surface layers by high-speed gas-flame dusting

The technical solutions providing the formation of nanostructured surface layers with the combined method, including preliminary mechanical activation of TiNi powder, a high-speed gas-flame dusting and the subsequent thermomechanical processing are described. It is shown that TiNi high-speed gas-flame dusting allows to receive surface layers in nanostructural condition practically of any thickness. The average size of grain in TiNi coverings fluctuates within 20-170 nanometers.
