Methodological approaches to the expert study of ephedra plants as an object of controlled traffic

In this article, on the basis of generalization and systematization of information on methods and techniques of research of ephedra plants (plants of the genus Ephedra L), a comprehensive approach to solving expert problems on their attribution to objects of illicit trafficking - plants containing precursors of narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances is proposed. Anatomical and morphological features of representatives of the genus Ephedra L., conditions and modes of application of various methods of physico - chemical analysis to determine the main alkaloids of ephedra are considered.
