Methodical approaches to develop students’ critical thinking

The modern education system has a number of tasks related to the comprehensive development of a student’s personality, which cannot be achieved without the development of critical thinking. The effective development of critical and logical thinking of students is facilitated by the systematic implementation of the stages of challenge, understanding, and comprehension in the lessons. Each of the designated stages has its own characteristics, all stages are interconnected, focused on achieving a single goal related to the development of critical thinking. As part of the process of developing critical thinking in students, the main task of a teacher is to maintain students’ interest in the topic, increase their activity in studying the material due to the use of methods and techniques described in the article.
