The article pays attention to the concepts: individualization of education, personalized education system, individual approach, individual educational trajectory, their specificity and relationship are revealed. The basics of implementing individualization of training for cadets at a military university are considered using the example of the discipline “Physics” using differentiated interdisciplinary assignments and research work. The dynamics of the quality of training for cadets and the pedagogical load on the teacher during the implementation of individual training at a military university are analyzed.
