Methodical indexer instrumentarium in scientific special library

There are considered methodical and regulatory documents providing the unification and standardization of the indexing process in a scientific special library exemplified by the CSAL. A necessity of using state standards and local (intra-library) methodical and regulatory materials to improve the indexing quality and to reduce the intellectual burden on the indexer, as well as to minimize subjectivism in making a decision is emphasized.
