This article evaluates various personnel assessment methods within the context of the modern market economy, where workforce quality stands as a key determinant of a company's success. The study examines qualitative and quantitative assessment methods, including emerging trends such as gamification, highlighting their significance in the personnel selection process. The author analyzes method classifications based on content and usability, presenting examples of qualitative and quantitative approaches like the matrix method and scoring method. It is noted that gamification offers an innovative way of assessing candidates as modern technologies better align with millennials' needs and enable a more comprehensive evaluation of candidates' potential. Introducing gaming elements in the personnel assessment process can enhance its attractiveness, objectivity, and diminish human bias in the selection process.
