Methodological approach to evaluation of oil refinery competitiveness

The article proposes an approach to assessing the competitiveness of the refinery. Features of refineries affecting their competitiveness are identified. Comparison of existing methods of evaluation of competitiveness from the point of view of the possibility of taking into account the industry peculiarities of the refinery, such as: oil accounting scheme, capacity of the refinery, properties of processed oils, depth of oil refining, integration into the vertically integrated company is given. It is proposed to supplement the existing campaign of effective competition with a group of idicators taking into account the use of production capacity of the refinery.
