Methodological support of learning standards for physical education

The article discusses the problem of the methodological support for Physical Education. It has shown that the existing contradiction between the technological shifts and the lagged transformation of the methodological support becomes one of the factors hindering the sustainable innovative development of the discipline. In the framework of transition to the new standards, the processes of structural development of the discipline in higher education system have been identified. The sets of learning standards have been considered as the regulators of the discipline modification, which are aimed at market services in the field of the physical education and sports.
