This paper addresses general theoretical issues of color symbolism in the context of language, culture and art, taking into account various artistic, cultural and linguistic meanings and semantic interpretations that they carry. Since ancient times, the Arabs have paid special attention to colors, considering them not only as a means of visual perception, but also as an important component of linguistic and emotional expression. Colors played a significant role in the formation of images and associations, which is reflected in such expressions as "pink dreams", "white lies", "yellow laughter" and "black days". The relevance of this study is determined by the wealth of connotative and symbolic meanings assigned to colors in the Arab cultural tradition, with a special emphasis on black and blue, which acquire a unique cultural and emotional load in the system of mental representations of the Arab world. One of the key conclusions obtained in this paper is that color has a very important and diverse meaning in Arabic symbolism. Colors contribute to a deeper understanding of the mysteries of the human soul and the cultural identity of the people, emphasizing the antiquity of civilizations through their emotional impact and expressive power. The semiotics of black and blue, in particular, reflect a wide range of semantic and meaningful lexical meanings.
