Today, most Russian enterprises carry out systematic work to ensure occupational safety and health protection of employees. Such work is carried out on the basis of the implementation of occupational safety management systems. The effectiveness of such a system is largely determined by the presence of procedures for identifying hazards and risks that are implemented using uniform approaches. When carrying out work to ensure occupational safety, a special assessment of working conditions in the workplace must be provided, which is a requirement of the labor legislation of the Russian Federation. The assessment requires that we use uniform methods and criteria for occupational risks assessment (ORA), taking into account the size of an organization and having the possibility of systematic implementation. Therefore, the issue of developing a simple effective ORA methodology is relevant. The proposed methodology for risk assessment is carried out on the basis of a system of indicators that takes into account various types of hazards: severity of harm, working conditions, level of injury safety, availability of personal protective equipment, etc. There have assessed occupational risks and working conditions of the livestock complex in the Chelyabinsk region using the developed methodology. The methodology turned out to reveal its simplicity, versatility and effectiveness. The proposed methodology has an advantage. It does not require serious preliminary preparation or special training. The methodology also complies with the recommendations of the labor legislation of the Russian Federation, according to which qualitative and quantitative assessment should be carried out. Its use allows you to promptly identify hazards and develop measures to eliminate the risk of injury. Prompt implementation of such measures will lead to increased industrial safety, prevention of accidents and reduction of occupational diseases of personnel, which will ultimately reduce financial costs and increase the efficiency of the enterprise.
