The method of determination of the total content of flavonoids in the aerial parts of colored carnations is developed. The optimal parameters of extracts from the aerial parts of colored carnations are 70% of ethyl alcohol extractant, the degree of fineness of raw materials is 1.0 mm, the extraction temperature is a boiling water bath, the ratio of raw material to extraction agent is 1:50, the number of extractions is 2, the duration of the I extraction is 60 minutes, the duration of the II extraction is 30 minutes.
