Methodology for evaluating the effectiveness of educational activities of the university

The article considers a methodology that allows increasing the objectivity of assessing the effectiveness of educational activities of a university. It includes assessing the quality of: graduates’ education in the implemented educational programs; work of scientific and pedagogical staff; material and technical and educational and methodological support of the educational process. The following indicators of the quality of graduates’ education are considered as priority parameters in assessing the effectiveness of educational activities: the average grade received by students during the period of study, grades for internships and defense of final qualifying works, the effectiveness of the scientific and pedagogical staff involved in the implementation of educational programs (having an academic degree and title, teaching experience, age, publication activity, supervision of applicants for academic degrees). It is concluded that the objectivity of assessing the effectiveness of educational activities of a university increases when using the proposed methodology due to taking into account the main factors influencing the quality of graduates’ education.
