Risk assessment is the most important part ofplanning the implementation of an investment project in the organization of high-tech production. To determine the impact of risk, a comprehensive approach to modeling and evaluation is required, and it is necessary to take into account that the failure may not occur due to a single risk event, but a combination of mutually exclusive risk events can lead the process to a system failure. For the solution, process modeling is used, which is currently used as a decision-making tool. The article proposes a process-oriented approach to risk assessment, which extends to the integration of risk identification and assessment mechanisms for use as a decision-making tool when assessing the risks of production processes. The methodology establishes a risk assessment process for the development of a global risk indicator that can be used as a decision-making tool for the organization of high-tech industries.
