In the article the methodical approach to the assessment of foreign economic activity of the region, including the algorithm and the method of analysis of the current state of regional foreign economic activity, evaluation of institutional conditions and innovation potential of the region as elements, ensuring the formation of competitive advantages of the region in international markets of goods and services and in the foreign field as a whole.
