The article considers the issue of the methodology for calculating guaranteed, high-quality, uninterrupted transmission of video information over Ethernet protocol, with PoE technology based on the 10GBASE/1000BASE-T standard from the terminal device to the source of information accumulation. The exact indicators/degrees/coefficients affecting/reducing the signal transmission range, such as: temperature, electromagnetic fields, detachable joints, splices/couplings, operational losses, have been established. The calculation method was carried out taking into account modern types of cable products: "U/SFTP Cat.6 4x2x24AWG", "F/SFUTP Cat.6 4x2x24AWG", "SFTP Cat.7 4x2x24AWG LSZH" and "SFTP Cat.7a 4x2x24AWG LSZH". The conducted studies prove the possibility of a significant increase in the signal transmission range on the 1000BASE-T standard due to the use of modern cable products, and the resulting formula allows for accurate calculations taking into account the presence or absence of various operational factors.
