The author of the scientific article presents recommendatory measures that are aimed at optimizing costs and increasing the financial result of the production activities of business entities in the field of food production. The main problems and difficulties faced by food production enterprises in the modern Russian economy are considered. Promising ways and solutions to optimize costs and increase profits in the food production business have been identified. On the example of an enterprise, an economic assessment of the effectiveness of the proposed recommendations and measures aimed at optimizing costs and increasing the financial result of the production activity of a business entity in the field of food production was carried out. The relevance of research on this issue is related to the modern realities of the food production sector in the Russian economy, which is why there is an increase in financial costs that reduce business profitability. Accordingly, the practical significance of the scientific article lies in the fact that the developed recommendations can positively affect the financial condition of enterprises in the field of food production. The object of the research is the enterprises of the sphere of food production. The subject of the article is the measures to optimize costs and increase profits in the food production business.
