the problem of organizing secondary school students' project activity in teaching natural sciences. The purpose of the article is to work out and substantiate the methods of organizing secondary school students' project activity in teaching natural sciences. The research methodology is based on normativelegal documents of General education, analysis and generalization of domestic and foreign scientists research works as well as advanced and mass-scale experience of biology, chemistry and physics teachers. Results. Types of educational projects, stages of project activity of the teacher and secondary school students in teaching natural sciences are defined. The structure of the lesson-project is analyzed and generalized. The specificity of subjects and presentations of educational projects in the field of natural science education is revealed. The results of checking the effectiveness of the recommended methods of organizing secondary school students' project activity in teaching natural sciences are presented. Conclusion. Project activity contributes to the formation of socially significant position of students, allows them to create educational products, acquire skills of planning and organizing their own activities, which ultimately helps them to implement their creative abilities and develops individual qualities of the person. The effectiveness of organizing project activity of secondary school pupils in teaching natural sciences is proved by the results of pupils' academic performance progress, the formation of natural science thinking and growth of interest in learning activities.
