Methodology for organizing students' project activities in the form of a hackathon

The article shows the relevance of organizing project activities at the university in order to improve the quality of graduates' training in accordance with the changing requirements of the labor market. It describes hackathon as a type of project activities, the tasks that can be solved with its help as a result of its implementation in the educational process of the university. The methodology of organizing and conducting the hackathon, the possible roles of teachers and team members. Practical aspects of organizing hackathon are considered on the example of hackathon "DubnaTech - Digital Transformation". The analysis of students' participation in project activities of different courses and directions on the example of interdisciplinary projects is carried out. It is shown that the use of hackathon in the educational process of the university can help bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and its practical application through innovative methods of obtaining and sharing knowledge in the student-teacher-university-organization space.
