This article presents the content of an activity-filled interaction between 5-6-year-old children and Ivan Shishkin,s painting, which creates the educational space where preschoolers build aesthetic communication with the world through translating from the language of visual images, signs and symbols into the language of verbal meanings and values. The educational content of the interaction with the work of art is aimed at the implementation of cognitive, social, communicative and language development of preschool children in view of the level of educational objectives and the degree of the development of the artistic language by 5-6-year-old children.
