The article is devoted to the study of the essence of labor, because labor is a process of transforming nature by man, with the help of the means of labor for further satisfaction of needs. Also, the article discusses the efficiency of labor use, because it is this factor that characterizes the level of labor utilization, taking into account production, time spent and quality of work, as well as labor costs per employee. And investigated the methodology for the analysis of labor resources.
