Technique of calculation and estimation of the temperature field, generated during operation of the thin-walled knife

The calculation and estimation technique of the temperature field generated during the operation of thin-walled knives is proposed. It is shown that at the main part of the cutting tool temperature reaches 48°C, and at the edge of the cutting edge is 576°C. Such a high temperature is achieved due to intensive friction. It leads to the development of damage of the cutting edge, and coming out from operation of the circular knives after 1-2 shift.
