The object of study is the process of clothes making. It was established that the application of the effective processing methods and iron systems with special apparatus reduces the labour intensity for sewing operations and makes work easier. The formulas are developed which allow recalculating of the existing norms of the time operations with their replacement or elimination from the sequence of the sewing operations The developed methods can be used in the clothing industry. They make it possible to optimize setting of technological operations in clothing industry.
