Methodology for rating assessment of industrial production potential

The article is devoted to the methodological aspects of assessing the industrial production potential of an enterprise. An interpretation of industrial production potential and a model of its structure reflecting the key constituent elements are proposed. This structure assumes a decomposition consisting of the basic, working and labor potentials. On the basis of the proposed structure, a methodology for rating assessment of industrial production potential was developed. Assessment blocks are formed in accordance with structural elements. A set of analytical indicators was selected for each block. For the indicators, the expert method determined threshold values that allow them to be assigned one of three possible ranks: growing (+), constant (=), decreasing (-). The ranks of the indicator obtained from the results of the assessment make it possible to determine the rank of the constituent blocks and the integral indicator of industrial and production potential. Also, the article presents a typical interpretation of the industrial production potential of each rank.
