The article analyzes the effects associated with the use of "result-management" tools in the public management system. The significance of this managerial innovation is noted. The author's methodology for assessing the effectiveness of its implementation is described. The author gives the calculations performed with its use on the materials of the regional social and economic systems of European Russia.
