Methods of authorship attribution in contemporary national philology

The article deals with modern national methods of authorship attribution. A special attention is paid to the possibility of applying these methods to solve philological problems. There are four basic techniques based on usage analysis, on the study of syntax, on the study of sequences and integrated (combined) methods. Comparative analysis of this attribution methods revealed their advantages and disadvantages. The issue of attributing some articles to Fyodor Dostoyevsky showed that the most effective looks comprehensive, multidimensional analysis, which uses the traditional philological approaches and elements of linguistic statistics.
