Methodological research model of the traditional family in dagestan in today's reality

The paper is devoted to the author's methodological model of sociological research of a traditional family in Dagestan in the context of changes in its institutional foundations is offered in the article. The absence of such model in Russian sociological science gives an innovative character to this work. In it the sociological field of research of the Dagestan traditional family is developed on the basis of the neoclassical model of scientific research as oriented to the analysis of social reality in its multidimensionality and ambiguity, which determines the setting for the synthesis of cognitive representations formed in the classical and non-classical methodological tradition of socio-humanitarian science. From its position in the methodological model of research the author includes three approaches: neo-institutional, socio-cultural and theory of traditions. On the basis of the abovementioned key theoretical approaches the traditional family in Dagestan can be studied from the position of its coexistence with modern types and forms of family relations that affect the functioning of the traditional family, taking into account the fact that the values of the latter influence the development of the modern family. This is what determines the potential of the proposed methodological model that allows us to study the traditional family in Dagestan in the context of its historical conditionality with past and modern types and forms of family-marriage relations that have developed in a particular society and region. The author adheres to the position that the traditional family develops in line with its own logic that determines the specifics of its dynamics and destructive tendencies, as well as the need to take into account the historical and socio-cultural context in the process of studying changes in the institution of a traditional family. This possibility is presented by the methodological model of the traditional family research proposed in this article, which can be successfully applied to the study not only of the family in Dagestan, but also of any other region of modern Russia.
