Comparison of few methods of complement activity definition in saliva and serum of people and herbivorous animals was carried out. To evaluate a hemolysis % in saliva and serum of people and herbivorous animals, modificated method of L.S. Reznikova (1967) was offered. One more sample, where 1 ml hemolytic system and 1 ml testing fluid was poured in, was added to standard samples row. Low complement activity in herbivorouses saliva and serum was revealed. Species peculiarities of complement activity in herbivorouses saliva and serum were demonstrated. Sexual distinctions of salivary complement activity in sheeps were determinated.
