Methodological aspects research of the Russian households

The article discusses some of the methodological aspects of the study of Russian households. The budget household surveys are thought to allow analyzing the distribution of population by level of material well-being, the level of poverty and food consumption. They are also used when getting the weight numbers for calculation the consumer price index and data for the household sector accounts in the system of national ones. An additional source of statistical data that is needed for the qualitative analysis, development and management solutions on employment, social development is RLMS (Russian Longitudinal Monitoring Survey). Study of methodological provisions survey of Russian households has revealed the imperfection of the Russian methodological framework survey of the household sector, in particular, due to the problem of disaggregating the household sector. An approach based on the allocation of household income by economic activity is proposed.
