Methodological aspects of the theoretical legal studies of sovereignty

Currently, internal and external challenges to the sovereignty of the Russian state stepped forward more than ever viewed retrospectively the entire political life of post-Soviet Russia, so the need to carry objective theoretic legal research in this direction is doubtless. Especially promising and high technology direction in the development of categorical apparatus of the legal theory of law and state represented a methodological approach to the problem of sovereignty over the material practice of contemporary intra- and inter-state processes. The article describes the theoretical and methodological problems of the study of the legal sovereignty in the context of the transformation of international relations, differing positions on the issue ofrecognition ofthe stateof the newly formedstate entities, justified the introduction of political and legal discourse categories sectoral sovereignty.
