Methodological framework for monitoring regional cultural policy

The article discusses topical issues of finding criteria and measurable indicators of the effectiveness of the implementation of cultural policy, which are the basis for monitoring the regional sphere of culture. The main purpose of the study was to develop a methodological approach to assess the effectiveness and quality of management of the regional sphere of culture and the ongoing regional cultural policy. In accordance with the goal, on the basis of the identified block of problems, general principles of building a regional monitoring system were developed and, on this basis, the features of monitoring regional cultural policy in the Krasnodar Territory were identified. From an applied point of view, the use of this approach to assessing regional cultural policy contributes to improving the quality of regional strategic management, increasing consistency between long-term and mediumterm goals based on identifying inconsistencies in the process of implementing cultural development strategies and their prompt elimination.
